A decent night's sleep may still be possible for town centre residents

Adrian spoke in support of concerns expressed by local residents at last week's planning committee. The concerns related to applications to extend the opneing hours of the Green Room and Mustard Club to 3.30am on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The Planning Committee recognised the concerns expressed and rejected the applications by an overwhelming margin.

Adrian said after the meeting,“This wasn't especially about these premises and it wasn't about preventing people having a good time. It was more about the right of local residents to a decent night's sleep and consideration for their amenity. Resdients must continue to call the non emergency police number 101 and obtain a log number for each and every case of disturbance or nuisance they suffer."
