Adrian's intervention secures extra time for residents to respond to Edge Hill plans

Edge Hill have submitted a large planning application to build new sports facilities in the green belt, create a new junction and entrance road to the campus and create further car parking spaces.

Adrian said, "This is a complex and unusual application and there are over 100 documents submitted in support of the proposal. I am delighted that planning officers have agreed to my suggestion that in these rare circumstances public consultation be extended. It’s important that local residents can properly understand what is proposed and have their say. The extended deadline assists with that."

The application and the more than 100 associated documents can be viewed at http://publicaccess.westlancsdc.gov.uk/PublicAccess/tdc/DcApplication/application_detailview.aspx?caseno=LK9ALYRH02W00 and the reference number is 2011/0504/FUL. Videos in support of the application can be seen at www.westlancs.gov.uk/edgehill .
